-Learn the names of the most frequent contacts by heart.
-Keep a desk diary where you mark down all your boss’s engagements, reminders of action to be taken, accounts to be paid, work to be carried out, annual events, conferences, birthday, etc.
-Keep a smile in your voice when talking on the telephone.
-Never let your personal problems show in the office.
-Pay attention to your personal appearance and manners.
-Keep learning: read the news, watch plays at the theatres, keep alert to everything happening around.
